Costume Claire
Claire is fifteenth out of sixteen children. Most of her eleven sisters sewed while her four brothers built things. Claire felt pretty strongly about keeping up with them all. In high school, she began making costumes at home and soon she and several sisters decided to turn their passion into profession.
Claire made many of the costumes in the shop, as well as many custom pieces you may have been lucky enough to see at special events like the 250th Anniversary Celebration for the town of Salem. Her creations have been worn by well known TV and film personalities as well as political candidates including presidential candidates. Claire recently served as costume director for the movies "Developing Sheldon" and “Marvin’s Room”, filmed locally. Claire has outfitted everyone from birthday party clowns to characters for major hotel and retail chains.

Marvellous Martha
Martha doesn't wear that title simply because she's one of Costume Claire's sister's. She earned it over the years she's worked at Costume Gallery. Most of the dozen sisters have been involved in one aspect or another of costuming at some stage, but Marvellous Martha has dedicated her dress-up expertise to Costume Gallery. She assists in managing the store and is invaluable for her knowledge of the inventory. Marvellous Martha is one of the biggest reasons customers think this shop is so much fun!

Cool Kevin
Kevin volunteers an hour a month to handle Costume Gallery's bookkeeping. He was also instrumental in developing this web site. Kevin scanned in all those photos in the catalogue department. If too much is said about how cool Kevin is, and what a fabulous job he did on this site, then people will wonder who wrote the cool Kevin bio!

Awesome Others
The core staff at Costume Gallery is pretty consistent. While Claire and Martha are our full time backbone, we'd be lost without Liz, Jennifer, Eileen and Marion. They all work part time through out the year.
